Cierra’s First Laugh

Cierra laughed for the first time last night, but I think it scared her because as soon as she finished her faced turned red and she was crying her little eyes out.
It’s Been A While

It’s been about 3 months since Cierra’s birth and things are great. She’s smiling and talking in baby talk a lot. She seems like she wants to walk already, but momma says no. She’s also learning to hold her bottle on her own. Laila started work this week and there’s a lot of changes there. She seems happy now that she’s not stuck at home. I started school so I’m also away from the house every now and then. The good news is that Cierra was accepted into her daycare so she has someone watching her. We took her to the beach last weekend, she was so good and I think she enjoyed it. It was fun, can’t wait to do it again.

Cierra Lin Belmonte arrived early!! Â Laila and I were very excited. Â Cierra is healthy and home now. Â Labor was only about 6 hours long, which is probably a good thing since girls don’t like going through labor. Â She doesn’t cry much, unless she’s hungy. Â Most of the time she’s pooping or sleeping =) . Â Family from all over have been visiting us and our new bundle of joy. Â I’ve now made it easier to see her by uploading pictures of her and other family members (just click the pictures link up top or click here). Â We got all her toys working as well. Â I think the swing is her (and my) personal favorite. Â Once she’s on it, it’s straight to dreamland for her.

Cierra will arrive in just under 2 weeks. Â I’m excited to see her. Â Laila and I are done with all the baby showers (thank you everyone) and have Cierra’s room ready for her arrival. Â The next step is to start baby-proofing the apartment.
Baby Shower (4 of 5)

My lovely Laila and I are headed to Los Angeles today to have another baby shower (poor babies; it must hurt falling from the clouds =) ). Â She’s had one at her parents’ home, 2 at work, one at my parents’ home, and another next weekend at my aunt and uncle’s place. Â Laila brought home cupcakes from the work baby shower yesterday, it was like eating cake, but in a cup form. Â It was also my birthday last week, hers yesterday (Happy Birthday Love!!), and Cierra’s due to be here soon!! Â Her room is starting to come together with all her clothes and baby gadgets. Â I wish I had my own room =( .
Finals!!

Finals weeks is here for me. I’m hoping I pass both classes with an “A”. I’m celebrating by working overtime at work, yay. Poor Laila’s back has been hurting so much, I don’t know what to do. I don’t like to see her in pain. This next month is going to be busy for me; I have to prepare Cierra’s bedroom for her arrival. Now Laila is being nosey and watching me type. Gotta go.
Cierra’s 4D Ultrasound

We had our 4D ultrasound done today for our soon-to-be-born child Cierra Lin. Â We got to see our baby’s face and she was sucking her thumb most of the time. Â Apparently she was alive and kicking all day long…….up until we had our appointment. Â Then it was time for her to sleep so we didn’t see much movement. Â We also heard her heartbeat. Â I wanted to try and upload it, but they gave it to us on some audio recording device with no output =( Â This was an exciting day for us all.
Sick

I’m not sick, but my dear Laila is. Â She has a nasal congestion but it seems worse. Â I went out and got her some vaporub and vapor tablets for the shower to help her breathe better. Â She said it worked a little. Â I feel bad, I hope she gets better soon. Â I love you babe.
New Look (Part II)

I now has some new piercings to fill up the empty space on my face. Â I won’t be able to shave for a while until they heal though.
